LESSONS: * For ages: 4 to 18 years old * Levels: beginner, intermediate, advanced, and very advanced * Three types of lessons: 30, 45, and 60 minutes * All lessons are individual, and once a week
STUDENT-LED ORGANIZATION, Rêve de Musique (RDM) RDM Retirement Home Recitals: Founded by my two talented children who are both Eastman School of Music educated pianists. This organization is led by my current students. With their leadership, they contribute to local communities by performing in monthly retirement home recitals at Greater Austin.
STUDIO: The studio is equipped with two new YAMAHA grand pianos. Both grand pianos are C5 (6' 7") in the Conservatory Collection series. This series of grand pianos are primarily for performance, recording, and music school use.
HOLIDAYS: During the school year 2025-26, there will be NO lessons on the following dates: * Thanksgiving Break: 11/23 to 11/29 * Winter Break: 12/22 to 1/3 * Spring Break: 3/15 to 3/21 * Studio Holidays: 4/13 to 4/14 * Memorial Day: 5/24 to 5/25 * Studio Holidays: 5/26 to 5/31 Each student gets total of 38 lesson days in a school year, September to June, regardless the day of the week.
STUDIO POLICY ON LESSON DAYS: Each student is allotted the same number of lesson days per school year (September through June), regardless of the day of the week their lessons fall on. When a regular lesson day is changed during the school year, the total number of remaining lessons will be according to the lesson count available for the new day of the week.
PARKING: For the safety purpose: Please DO NOT park the car, Turn Around, or Drop/Pick UP the students ON THE DRIVEWAY under any circumstance. You may drop off or pick up your children by the curb and then drive forward and turn around by using the cul-de-sac roundabout. Please use extreme precaution as you do so.
MEDIA RELEASE FORM: At Julia Piano Studio, we love celebrating our students’ musical growth and accomplishments. The information about Rêve de Musique (RDM) recitals, performances, and events are listed and available for the public to see on RDM's website, newsletters, and social media platforms. With parent or guardian permission, we may share photos of RDM recitals and performances with all parents in the email. The pictures and information about RDM members will also be posted on the RDM website, newsletters, and social media platforms. If students are planning to participate in RDM recitals or competitions held online, a signed consent release form is required. When students receive awards or recognition in piano competitions, their achievements may also be featured on the website to honor their success and inspire others. Additionally, with permission, selected photos, such as winners’ recitals and student achievements, may be featured on the Julia Piano Studio website to celebrate individual milestones.
