EXPECTATIONS:
For New Student-- After 6 months of studies, the student is required to have an acoustic piano (NOT digital piano, NOT keyboard) to practice at home.
Each student should have a metronome and an acoustic piano with maintenance and tuning at least once a year.
In order to maintain the proper fingers' postures for piano playing, the nails need to be trimmed prior to the lessons. If the student's nails are too long, the student has to trim the nails by him/herself. If the student is too young to trim the nails, and the parent is not present at the lesson, we will do theory or ear trainings instead of playing the piano at that lesson. The teacher will NOT trim the students' nails.
